I am delighted to welcome you to The Foundation of Community Engagement. We are committed to supporting, encouraging, and assisting schools, colleges, and settings to develop quality community engagement, through our Pathway to Empowerment. We want to support communities that empower people to build ambition and encourage resilience and learning for life, equipping everyone with the right skills for a changing world. The Foundation for Community Engagement is encouraging and working with schools, colleges, settings, and partners to work together towards common objectives, to focus on the needs of people, at all stages of their lives. Our Pathway to Empowerment reflects the underpinning principles of community schools; on the four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales, the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, and the Rights of all of our Communities. We value and support the hugely important role that your school, college and setting can play in supporting and developing all of our communities. We provide a positive structure for educational networks to work together, to audit current provision, plan for future developments and encourage a consistent approach to working with, supporting, and developing communities.
